Tacoma building tops out!

Patsy Surh Place has topped out! This joint project of LIHI and Asia Pacific Cultural Center (APCC) is located in Tacoma's Lincoln District and will provide 77 units of affordable housing for seniors making 30% and 50% of Area Median Income. The project is nearing 50% built and has an anticipated completion date of April 2025.

Project details:

• 77 units (47 studios and 31 1-BR)

• Focus on AAPI seniors and others 

• Serving seniors aged 55 and over 

• 50% of households to be homeless upon entry 

• 20 units for vets with VASH vouchers 

• 10 units using project- based vouchers from Pierce County Housing Authority

• Other units for low wage workers 

• Retail space to target small or minority-owned businesses
