Advocacy

Page Under Construction!

Advocacy powers progress. LIHI advocates for just housing and shelter policies at the local, county, and state levels. We advocate through in-person and virtual testimony as well as letter writing campaigns across all policy levels.

Why is advocacy important?

Our Advocacy newsletters alert you to opportunities to testify in front of elected officials or send letters to you representatives to support housing and homelessness services

Community Action Committees (CACs) allow neighbors to support their local Tiny House Villages. They are often made up of local business owners and neighbors who work to support public safety, give feedback, and uplift program participants in their journey to stability.
