LIHI Year in Review

Dear Friends of LIHI,

We had a very productive 2024! Thank you for your support. As we enter the new year with some trepidation about so many political unknowns, including a new President and a new Governor, we wanted to assure you that our commitment to our mission to shelter and house homeless and low-income people is steadfast.

We wish to share what you helped us accomplish this past year:

We housed over 5,000 people in 82 buildings with 3,600 units. In 2024 we added 380 new workforce and permanent supportive housing units to LIHI's portfolio. New additions include:

- John Fox Place in Seattle (workforce)

- Good Shepherd House in Seattle (PSH)

- Jean Darsie Place in Seattle (PSH)

- Aventine Apartments in Bellevue (workforce)

- Lotus Court in Olympia (PSH)

• In addition, we sheltered 2,400 homeless people in 14 tiny house villages and 7 enhanced shelters and hotels. New villages and shelters include Henderson Village in Seattle, Maureen Howard Place in Lakewood, and Oasis Inn in Tacoma.

• Over 1,000 of you volunteered to build, paint, and furnish tiny houses; to beautify villages and housing; to stock and organize the Urban Rest Stops and Hope Factory; to tutor children; and to create art installations.

• Over 800 of you donated money to help our homeless clients. Hundreds of you also donated food, clothing, bedding, hygiene kits, toys, books, building supplies, and more.

Thanks for your crucial support in 2024! We look forward to improving housing outcomes for lots more people in 2025!
