The Cate Apartments are located in the Greenwood Neighborhood of Seattle near Fred Meyer and many other businesses. The Cate serves homeless, low-income and working families and individuals. Amenities include onsite laundry, courtyard, and parking garage. The Cate Apartments are named in honor of Rev. Bill and Jan Cate, social justice and peace activists, whose life work includes ; expanding food bank systems in Seattle, boycotting banks with connecting to apartheid South Aftica, ending racial discrimination in home loans in specific Seattle neighborhoods, anti-war efforts around the PNW, as well as creating and heading the Church Council of Greater Seattle.
