Julia's Place is a five-unit apartment building located in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle. The property was developed by Elaine Nonneman, a lifelong activist and feminist social justice philanthropist. LIHI has managed the property since it opened in 2012. Elaine willed the property to LIHI in 2024. Julia's Place consists of three affordable one-bedroom units and two market-rate two-bedroom units. Building features include a 5 Star Built Green certification, rainwater harvesting for toilet, laundry, and landscaping use and solar panels to offset tenant electricity. Each unit includes hardwood floors, large closets, full kitchens including dishwashers, and washer/dryers. Julia's Place is named in memory of Elaine's niece.
