Open Waitlist Affordable HUD Housing for Ages 62 and over.

The Cheryl Chow Court is an independent living facility.

The waitlist is open and will close on March 18th, 2026, at 4 p.m. Any low-income household 62 years of age and older may apply. Households with disabilities who can live independently, or homeless status are also encouraged to apply. After submitting a pre-application, you will be added to the waitlist for a studio and one-bedroom apartment if qualified.

Cheryl Chow Court is located in Ballard, one of the most livable and walk-able neighborhoods in Seattle, near Ballard Commons, three grocery stores, the public library, Swedish Medical Center, transit, and retail. Amenities include library with internet-enabled computers, large community room, patio garden, roof garden, onsite laundry, and roll-in showers. The building is named in honor of former Seattle City Councilmember and homeless advocate Cheryl Chow.
